At GPi Metal Products, we offer powder metal component manufacturing using press & sinter and metal injection molding (MIM) technologies. These processes allow low cost components with geometrical complexities that would be difficult or impossible to fabricate using other metalworking processes. The powder metal manufacturing process is an environmentally clean method for producing parts exactly or close to the final dimensions (± .002”)  with excellent surface finish, no material waste, and little or no finish machining required.Our engineering team is ready to assist you in determining if a part’s design is a candidate for this economical process.

Using metal injection molding or press and sinter operations, we are capable of manufacturing parts using materials blended for optimized performance in your specific application. Almost all metals, including steel, aluminum, nickel, and tungsten are appropriate for use, and parts can be heat treated and impregnated with oil or plastics to control their porosity and lubricity. Our quality control procedures further guarantee that parts manufactured using a powdered metal process will provide reliable, long-term performance in the most critical applications.
